Oktoberfest Munich is also considering this one of their first years stepping up into the digital, 21st century with their own iPhone mobile app, 3 live webcams, and social media integration with Facebook and Twitter.

This will be the first year you could walk into the Theresienwiese and check in to a beer tent on your phone! How convenient is that!

Beer Tokens

In Munich, mostly companies hand out beer tokens ("Biermarken" in German) to their guests, which can then be exchanged for beer in the respective tents. If you want to buy beer tokens, please contact the tent-owners directly.

Oktoberfest Tampa 2010 will be set similar to this practice where you will exchange tickets for beer!
